Jim D'Onofrio
museum quality paperweights

Jim D’Onofrio (USA). Jim is a true artist. He has a degree in fine arts and worked as an assistant to Paul Stankard for about five years in the 1980s. His weights include an artistic balance of color and texture with an incredible attention to detail. Look at his frogs – he has captured the life essence of a frog, all in glass. In my opinion, he is one of the greatest - possibly The Greatest - glass artists of all time. He signed his pieces with the year and the number of the weight - beginning with his first in the 1980s. If I were younger, I'd stockpile these.
